Description:
Echinacea Color Coded 'One in a Melon' is a hybrid coneflower with large, single flowers in a melon-yellow tone from 5 to 5.5 inches wide. The horizontal rays complement its big, bold orange cones. Part of the Color Coded collection bred for exceptional basal branching, flower performance, large flower size and horizontally held petals. Plant in full sun in average (not overly rich), well-drained soils. Avoid soils that are overly moist in winter. Great winter interest and seeds for over-wintering birds. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
