Echinacea Double Coded 'Butter Pecan' in a coneflower that offers fragrant, fully double, buttery-yellow flowers 4 inches wide with broad, horizontal ray petals that maximize the effect. Plants are low, wide and well-branched allowing for prolific flower power all summer long. A mainstay in the sunny summer border, in containers, and as long lasting cut flowers. Great winter interest and seeds for over-wintering birds. Echinacea in coastal BC should be planted in hot, dry, sunny spots with thin, average to poor soils for best overwintering. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
