Description:
Saxifraga fortunei 'Rubrifolia' is commonly known as a Japanese rockfoil. It has fleshy, rounded, lobed basal leaves that are two-toned green with burgundy undersides. Burgundy-pink stems rise well above the foliage displaying airy clusters of slender, long white petals with yellow centres in autumn. Makes a great specimen for containers and troughs, at the front of the shady border or in the woodland, or as a mass-planted ground cover for foliage interest and late summer colour with other woodland treasures. Deer and rabbit resistant.
