Rudbeckia fulgida 'American Gold Rush'

('productnameshort')

Rudbeckia 'American Gold Rush' is perhaps the best black-eyed Susan available with great habit and flower power.

Description:
An improved black-eyed Susan, 'American Gold Rush' performs remarkably in trials against other cultivars. It has masses of long-lasting, rich yellow blooms sporting bold dark cones on well-formed, compact clumps that are slightly smaller than 'Goldsturm'. Highly resistant to Septoria leaf spot due to its thinner and hairier leaves! With an upright habit of up to 26 inches and a spread of 40-44 inches, this Rudbeckia fulgida is sure to become a centrepiece in the late summer garden. Great for patio containers, cottage and wild gardens. Mass plant for a spectacular effect. Attracts pollinators and songbirds. Possibly hardy to zone 3.
