Clematis 'Perle d'Azur' has long been a favourite of clematis enthusiasts including Vita Sackville-West who planted it prominently at her famed Sissinghurst Castle Garden seen in the photo. The 4-6 inch wide flowers open light violet and age to a beautiful sky blue. The flowers bloom over a very long period and are produced in profusion on stems 9-12 feet tall from June to September. Tolerant of part shade and hardy to zone 3! Pruning group C.
