Iris 'Air of Mystery' is a stunner in shades of saffron, tan, cream, violet, grey, and yellow!
Description:
'Air of Mystery' is a stunner with intricately ruffled saffron to tan standards with cream bases filled with dramatic violet midribs, the same violet which covers the falls, themselves edged in tan, grey and yellow. Orange beards complete the show. Blooms very early on 37 inch stems. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
