Vaccinium 'Nocturne'

('productnameshort')

Vaccinium 'Nocturne' is a highbush blueberry with white flowers and delicious, plump, coral to black berries.

Description:
Vaccinium 'Nocturne' is not your typical blueberry shrub. Glossy green foliage serves as the backdrop for white urn-shaped flowers in spring. The real drama begins with fruiting in mid to late season. Unripe berries display coral coloured skin that contrasts strikingly against the delicious, ripe, plump, near-black fruit that is ready to eat. And, of course, the fall foliage colour is spectacular. A very vigorous producer that is highly self-fertile, however, when interplanting with other highbush varieties, the yield will increase. Grows 5-6 feet tall and wide. Attracts bees and birds.
