Gladiolus x colvillei 'Claudia' is a stunning hardy gladiola with funnel-shaped, rich red flowers with white highlights on the lower petals. They have the benefit of a very long bloom period. Bulbs require good drainage. Leave the foliage to nourish the bulb after cutting back the flower stalk and mulch in winter. Amazingly hardy to zone 5! Plant deeper in colder zones.
