('productnameshort')

Solidago shortii 'Solar Cascade' is a nativar of the endangered Short's goldenrod with cascading branches of long-blooming yellow flowers.

Description:
Solidago shortii, commonly known as Short's goldenrod, is a rare and endangered native goldenrod known only from a few counties in Indiana and Kentucky. 'Solar Cascade' is a very showy cultivar of this species that thrives in moist, gravelly, well-drained soils in full sun but also tolerates part shade. It is a well behaved, clump-forming perennial to 36 inches tall and wide. Arching panicles of small, bright, golden yellow flowers bloom long into late summer and fall. The foliage is highly disease resistant and stays attractive right up to season's end. Use in mass plantings, in the native garden, to cascade down slopes, and for erosion control. A pollinator magnet. Deer resistant.
