Description:
Cuphea 'Hummingbird's Lunch' is a fascinating, low-mounding, easy-care, tender, evergreen perennial with a tidy round habit 24 inches tall by 36 inches wide at maturity. Bright, two-toned tubular flowers of cherry-red and yellow bloom non-stop from summer to fall. A magnet for hummingbirds and pollinators alike. Loves heat and sun. Dead heading is not necessary. Mulch over winter in colder climates, otherwise, treat as an annual or bring inside to protect. A great addition to the pollinator garden, in borders, containers, and mass plantings.
