Colocasia 'Coffee Cups'

('productnameshort')

Colocasia ‘Coffee Cups’ is an elephant ear with cupped olive green foliage with burgundy veining on burgundy stems.

Description:
Colocasia ‘Coffee Cups’ is an award-winning elephant ear with an exotic twist. Strong burgundy coloured stems extend up into the olive-green leaves with thick and fine burgundy veining for a stunning contrast. The foliage is cupped upwards allowing for rainwater to collect until there is enough weight to bend the stems and pour the water out. Pretty cool. This cultivar is a clumper that can reach up to 5 feet with a 4 foot spread. Makes a great tropical statement in the garden or in containers. Needs evenly moist soil. Can also be grown as a marginal pond plant and houseplant. Yellow flowers may appear in summer. Mulch in winter or, if in a container, store in a protected site.
