Clematis x chiisanensis 'Lemon Bells' was introduced by UBC Botanical Garden. It has unique, small, pendulous, pastel yellow flowers often with a hint of green and burgundy at the base. It blooms on old wood in mid to late spring and on new wood later in the summer. Flowers are followed by attractive silky seed heads. Pruning group A.
