Clematis cirrhosa 'Balearica' is an evergreen, winter-blooming species with fragrant, creamy white, bell-shaped flowers that are 2 inches (5 cm) across and adorned with reddish-maroon freckles inside. Blooming from mid to late winter and into early spring, the delicate flowers give way to fluffy seed heads. Grow in an area protected from heavy frosts. Pruning group A.
