Clematis alpina 'Francis Rivis' displays deep blue tepals with white staminodes. Alpinas can be grown from bright shade to full sun and used as a climber, rambler or ground cover. Their delicate flowers are followed by attractive, silky seed heads. They are one of the hardiest and easiest of all species to grow. Pruning group A.
