Description:
Mahonia repens is a very adaptable, native, woodland ground cover with bright, canary- yellow blooms in late winter to early spring. Wildlife enjoys the blue berries that follow. Tolerates rich to poor soil. Drought tolerant once established. Excellent for use as a large scale ground cover in a woodland garden, or in a small shrub grouping. Plans are slowly rhizomatous. Provides effective erosion control for slopes.
