Mighty Veggie grafted peppers produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.
Description:
'Jalapeno' peppers are well known producing dark green, 3 inch long, conical peppers with hot, zesty flavour. They are thick-walled and easy to remove the seeds. This is one of the best chile peppers for salsa, nachos, or chiles. Eat fresh or pickle. 70-80 days. Rated as 3500-8000 Scoville heat units. Mighty Veggies grafted vegetables are hand grafted onto super strong rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so veggies start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Veggie grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
