Description:
Acer shirasawanum 'Moonrise' is a small deciduous tree with a full rounded canopy. The foliage is golden yellow to yellowish green with stunning red new growth. It prefers morning sun and afternoon shade in well-drained soil growing to about 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide in 10 years. Maples change through the seasons generally offering different colours and foliage patterns through spring, summer, and fall. We choose our photo to show the most distinctive characters but an internet image search will help you understand how each cultivar will change through the seasons. For the 2024 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 2-3 feet tall.
