Description:
Allium sativum 'Legacy' is a celebrated hardneck Rocambole type garlic that was found on a farm near Blyth, Ontario. It has attractive red to pink-skinned cloves with great spiciness when fresh but becomes more mellow as bulbs age. Great for roasting, peels easily, and stores well. Plant in fall and harvest in mid to late summer.
