Description:
Living stones (Lithops sp.) are one of those plants that captures the imagination inspiring gardeners and non-gardeners alike. These succulents from southern Africa look like a flat rock with a little slit down the middle. In summer or fall they can produce a multi-petaled, white or yellow flower. The top surface has translucent epidermal windows that allows light to penetrate into the photosynthetic tissue within each leaf. Here we offer one mature lithops per pot each about 2.5 cm wide. If you order multiple pots, we will select a range of different colours.
