Hibiscus syriacus 'Diana' is a rose of Sharon with elegant, large, saucer-shaped, pure white flowers with slightly wavy petals 5 inches across. A big plus is that these flowers remain open into the evening for an after dusk glow. Blooms from midsummer to frost with an upright growth habit of 4-10 feet tall and 3- 6 feet wide. Slow to emerge in the spring, hardy and easy care. Prefers acidic, well drained soil in full to part sun. Prune for size in spring. Plant in shrub borders, as foundation plants, hedges or screens. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
