Camellia x williamsii is a stunning specimen for any shady garden with semi-glossy, dark-green, leathery leaves that persist over the winter and produce lovely, peony-form flowers. 'Anticipation' features very large, ruffled, deep rose-pink flowers 6 inches in diameter that perform and persist over a long blooming period from October to May! A handsome and easy-care shrub with an upright habit of 7-15 feet tall and 4-10 feet wide. Camellias appreciate rich, acidic, moist, well-draining soils. Use in the light shady garden as an accept plant, specimen, container and as cut flowers.
