Mangave 'Purple People Eater' forms succulent rosettes of blue-green foliage washed with reddish purple.
Description:
Mangave is a cross between Manfreda and Agave. 'Purple People Eater' takes its name from a silly song, but this is no silly succulent, rather, a very serious Mangave with extreme purple colouration. Leaves are blue-green heavily washed in reddish purple spotting with sturdy, upward folding margins lined with yellow, orange and brown spines. Plants form rosettes 12-16 inches tall by 16-24 inches wide. Full sun will bring out its best colouration. Deer resistant.
