Paeonia ‘Garden Treasure’ has semi-double yellow flowers with red centres and lemon fragrance.


Description:
Paeonia 'Garden Treasure' is a multi-award winning Itoh peony with very large golden-yellow, semi-double flowers surrounding a flush of scarlet at the base and a prominent centre with yellow stamens. Spread can reach 4-5 feet. Lemon fragrance. Itoh peonies are intersectional hybrids between tree peonies (P. suffruticosa) and garden peonies (P. lactiflora) making outstanding herbaceous perennials with huge flowers in many unusual colours. A mature plant can have over 50 blooms! The foliage is like a tree peony and emerges rich red, gradually turning green.
