Description:
Cypripedium 'Anita' is a very unusual cross of the endemic Taiwanese C. formosanum which has fan-shaped leaves and pale pink flowers with inflated pouches and C. californicum which has white pouches and deep greenish yellow petals producing up to 21 flowers per stem. The flowers of 'Anita' most resemble its Taiwanese parent. It's height to 8-16 inches and its ability to produce 1-2 flowers per stem come from the Californian species. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
