Description:
Agapanthus 'Little Galaxy' is about a foot shorter than 'Galaxy Blue', with flowers of equivalent size, offering a stunning presence. The Galaxy Series are large, vigorous lily-of-the-Nile that have proven hardy in zone 6 Michigan with good snow cover for many years. Agapanthus 'Little Galaxy' has large, rounded umbels to four inches across of indigo-blue, trumpet-shaped blossoms with a royal blue stripe on each petal atop strong, tall stems to 2-3 feet. Flowering from summer into fall. Grow in pots or in ground in moderately rich soils in hot, sunny locations. Herbaceous, going fully dormant in winter.
