Allium pskemense is a rare species from the "Stans" in southwest Asia. It has dramatic, inflated, blue-green leaves that would make any succulent lover gasp. The summer flowers are white to creamy white and are borne in tight spheres on stems up to three feet high. Hardy to at least zone 5. Available in fall as dry bulbs and sometimes in spring as potted plants. Photo: Wikipedia.
