Stachys spathulata (S. minima)
Common Name: Miniature Betony Family: Lamiaceae (The Mint Family)

Notes:
Stachys spathulata, formerly known as S. minima, is like a darling dwarf version of 'Hummelo' with rhizomatously spreading clumps of mid green, paddle-shaped, textured leaves with round-toothed edges topped with cute spikes of lavender rose pink, tubular flowers over a long period in early to mid summer. It is great as a small scale groundcover, for miniature gardens, and at the front of the border.
