Common Name: Amaryllis Family: Amaryllidaceae (The Amaryllis Family)

The Hippeastrum Sonatini Series is a group of compact amaryllis for the garden hardy to zone 7 that come in a range of colours. The flowers are a little smaller than the indoor cultivars but they produce multiple flowering stems per bulb and bulk up into nice clumps. Where not hardy bring indoors as a houseplant or store bulbs in a dry dark place until spring.
