Common Name: Agave Family: Asparagaceae (The Asparagus Family)

Agave filifera var. schidigera hails from northwest and central Mexico. It is a small to medium-sized species usually with nice symmetry. It has green leaves marked with silver-white and with curling threads or filifers along the leaf edges creating a distinctive look.

Americas - North America

Native Habitat:
Steep sites including cliffs and open exposed sites in oak woodlands from 900 to 2500 m.
