'Renate' could also be called 'Candy Cane' or 'Candy Stripe'. Both the petals and the pouch are pure white and beautifully and distinctly striped with raspberry pink. The pouch can also have a flush of pink. The flowers are large with one per stem, the stems reaching up to 14 inches high. Blooms in May. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size with multiple eyes.
