Coreopsis tripteris 'Gold Standard' is a 6 foot high tickseed producing masses of bright yellow flowers from summer to fall.


Description:
Coreopsis tripteris 'Gold Standard' is a tall, vertical tickseed that towers over other members of the genus at almost six feet with linear green to blue green leaves and masses of classic bright yellow Coreopsis flowers with brown centres from mid summer to early fall. 'Gold Standard' is more strongly upright and slightly shorter than the species while also producing flowering side branches. Combine with fall asters and Japanese anemone. A great late season eastern North American native for bees. It is rhizomatous with clumps increasing in size each year.
