Diospyros Nikita's Gift bears bountiful crops of sweet and flavourful, reddish-orange fruit followed by strikingly beautiful, orange-yellow fall foliage. The fruit is ready to eat when soft and tender like a ripe tomato. Nikita's Gift is a unique hybrid of Asian and American persimmon that combines the larger fruit of the Asian persimmon with the hardiness of the American persimmon. Self-fertile.
