Description:
'Yuzu', sometimes called 'Yuzu Ichandrin', is prized in Japan as a flavouring for sauces and desserts and to make marmalades and preserves. Plants produce abundant, easy to peel, 3 inch diametre fruit with tasty, complex, lemon lime grapefruit flavour. It is often picked green or left to turn yellow, each ripeness level giving different flavours. It has also become a hot item for foodies in North America. Citrus junos is super hardy to about minus 18 degrees Celsius, or zone 7 and can be easily grown outdoors in coastal BC year round. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
