Clematis ‘Josephine’ has big, bold, luscious, fully double flowers with lilac pink petals centred with a magenta midrib. Grow it in shade, however, and you’ll get double green flowers! A 1998 Chelsea Flower Show Award winner. Raymond Evison is the world's most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises and pergolas, grow them into shrubs, or use them as ground covers.
