Heuchera pulchella or mountain coral bell is a small species with pink flowers and evergreen foliage that turns red in the fall.


Description:
Heuchera pulchella is a tough, hardy, rare species from the mountains of New Mexico. It forms small evergreen mounds 4 inches high and 4-8 inches wide of green, lobed, ruffled foliage topped with 8-10 inch burgundy stems covered in tiny rose-pink flowers from May to June. The foliage takes on a beautiful shade of red in the fall. Excellent at the front of the border in cool soil with bright light. Can be used in xeriscape gardens. Attracts hummingbirds and bees. Deer resistant.
