Description:
Tibouchina urvilleana, also known as the princess flower, is a Brazilian shrub that can grow up to five metres tall with spectacular, bright purple-indigo flowers. Leaves are oblong, serrulate, possessing 3-7 prominent longitudinal veins and a soft, downy coating. Best chance of winter survival is to move plant to a bright, protected location such as a greenhouse or indoor space with supplemental lighting. Photo: Wikipedia.
