Clematis montana 'Freda' produces thousands of fragrant, cherry pink flowers that lighten to mid pink around yellow stamens each spring. It is more compact than other cultivars to just 12-15 feet tall and has lovely burgundy-infused foliage. Plant it to grow against a house, on a pergola, or up a tree. Pruning group A.
