Description:
'Oldie Goldie' offers huge seven inch flowers in unique tones of dusky gold, golden yellow, and mustard yellow accented with a lavender flush at the base of the standards and a light red glow to the hafts of the falls. The beards are orange. Blooms on 37 inch stems in the early season. Non-fragrant. Tall Bearded (TB) irises, previously known as Iris germanica, have greyish strap-like, pointed leaves from fleshy rhizomes and tall stems of gorgeous, often fragrant, flowers that come in every colour of the rainbow. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
