Description:
Clematis florida 'Manju Kokonoe White' is a spectacular cultivar from Japan with fully double, pale green flowers that mature to white with prominent creamy-green rosette centres. The smallish flowers are up to 2.5 inches wide but produced in great numbers for a stunning display. Blooms during the summer months. A large grower, it can reach 14 feet tall perfect for growing into large shrubs and small trees. Less hardy than some species and is best planted in a protected location. You can increase hardiness by burying the stems (once woody) 4-6 inches deep. Spectacular on a trellis or arbor. Pruning group C3.
