Description:
Pleurotus ostreatus is the oyster mushroom, a culinary/gourmet mushroom popular in many Asian countries and prized for its delicate texture and mild, savoury flavor. Commonly known as pearl or tree oyster due to its broad, thin, fan-shaped caps. The Happy Caps mushroom kit includes a live mushroom mycelium block that's super easy to use. Expect your first harvest in a 10-14 days with the possibility of a few more harvests to follow in succession. Once harvests have waned you can sometimes get another by planting outside in the garden in summer and covering with a dusting of soil.
