Description:
Aquilegia canadensis ‘Little Lanterns’ is a selection from the eastern counterpart to our BC native A. formosa. It is short in stature but free-flowering with tons of pendant flowers in shades of red and yellow that cover the plant in late spring. This selection is consistently shorter in stature and more intense in colour than the species making it a better garden plant. Popular with hummingbirds. Tolerant of dry shade. Photo: Wikipedia.
