Mimulus lewisii is known as Lewis' or great purple monkeyflower. It is a spectacular BC native with large trumpet-shaped flowers in shades of pink to magenta with orange and yellow in the throats. It is popular with bees. Loves moist soils. Now known scientifically as Erythranthe lewisii.
