Phlox divaricata 'May Breeze'

('productnameshort')

Phlox divaricata 'May Breeze' is an eastern NA native ground cover with white flowers sometimes with palest lavender.

Description:
Phlox divaricata 'May Breeze' is a delightful spring blooming eastern North American native ground cover for shade. Known as wild sweet William or woodland phlox, it carpets the shady border or woodland with lightly fragrant, white flowers sometimes with a hint of palest lavender. It is great to layer into the shady border planted between later emerging perennials like ferns and hosta. It will bloom in early to mid spring with bulbs and other spring ephemerals giving extra colour when not much else is happening. It can go semi-dormant after blooming so it is great to interplant it with other ground covers or allow larger perennials to take over the show after it blooms. Attracts butterflies.
