Prunus persica 'Early Redhaven'

('productnameshort')

Prunus persica ‘Early Redhaven’ is a semi-dwarf peach with sweet and juicy fruit.

Description:
Prunus persica ‘Early Redhaven' is a very popular peach that is self-fertile, vigorous and fast-growing. Fragrant pink blossoms emerge in spring followed by a mid to late summer crop of medium-sized, semi-freestone fruits with reddish and yellow skin. The flesh is yellow, firm, fine-grained, sweet and juicy. Ripens two weeks earlier than 'Redhaven'. Use for eating fresh, baking and canning. The tree is grafted onto a semi-dwarf root stock creating a medium sized, spreading tree. Green foliage turns deep yellow for a great fall display. In cool summer regions like coastal BC, plant in hot sunny spots with excellent air circulation that will approximate, as closely as possible, the optimum conditions of the Okanagan.
