Description:
Prunus avium 'Bing' is a famous sweet cherry producing clusters of fragrant white flowers in spring followed by heavy crops of high quality, dark, sweet, meaty fruit mid-season. These semi-dwarf trees will reach 12-15 feet tall and wide. Excellent for eating fresh, canning and preserves. Ornamentally attractive with a spreading canopy and smooth, glossy, reddish bark with horizontal stripes. Requires cross-pollination. Needs pollination from another cherry variety.
