Gentiana Little Pinkie 'Ashiro'

('productnameshort')

Gentiana "Little Pinkie' is a low-growing Summer Gentian with masses of bright pink to purple flowers from late spring to early fall

Description:
Here's a little cutie! Gentiana Little Pinkie 'Ashiro' is a cross between the spring and autumn gentians and thus blooms as early as late spring and continues until late autumn. This low grower makes for a compact, handsome specimen with dark green, glossy foliage topped with a profusion of rich rose pink to purple-pink, erect, trumpet-shaped flowers on short stems that open only in full sun and close in the late afternoon. Deadheading encourages more blooming. Tolerates full sun to part shade in well-drained, peaty, acidic soil. A choice addition to rock gardens, front border displays, and special containers.
