Description:
Rosa 'Violet's Pride' is a Weeks shrub rose bearing unique lavender blooms with a fruity fragrance that was named in honour of the character Lady Violet, the Dowager Countess of Grantham from the popular television series Downton Abbey played impeccably by Dame Maggie Smith. The flowers are lavender in colour with magenta centres, the lavender being more pronounced in cooler climates or seasons and more pinkish in hot climates. This shrub is vigorous and boasts a fruity, grapefruit-like scent. A must-have in any rose collector's garden, this rose is a healthy, repeat blooming and disease resistant shrub.
