('productnameshort')

Panicum virgatum 'Blood Brothers' is a sport of 'Heavy Metal' with red tipped, blue-green foliage and red to tan seed heads.

Description:
Panicum virgatum 'Blood Brothers' is a true beauty, if not among the most spectacular of switch grasses! A Canadian introduction by Dale Smith of St. Thomas, Ontario, it delivers an upright and slightly vase-shaped form that is composed of blue-green leaves up to 5 feet tall with tips developing blood-red tones by midsummer, intensifying as the season progresses. Sprays of small, reddish flowers develop into tan seed heads by late fall. Great winter interest. Use in the sunny border as a specimen or in mass plantings. A sport of 'Heavy Metal'.
