Description:
Monarda bradburiana is an uncommon beebalm species that hails from eastern North America. It is a short plant to just two feet with beautiful, tubular, two-lipped, pinkish to whitish, purple-spotted flowers in the classic beebalm clusters. The flower heads are subtended by a whorl of showy, purple-tinged leafy bracts. The toothed, aromatic, oblong foliage is, in the case of 'Midnight Oil', a rich burgundy in the young foliage. Clump forming. Pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
