Clematis Evison 'Picardy' produces large, single flowers of red and purple with deep red bars on vines just 3-4 feet tall.


Description:
Clematis 'Picardy' is a study in saturated colour with rich, velvety red blooms with hints of purple around dark red bars. The flowers are large, single, and 4-6 inch wide with red and yellow anthers. The vines reach just 3-4 feet tall perfect for containers and small spaces. Plants bloom freely from early to late summer or early fall. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Pruning group 2. Raymond Evison is the world's most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises and pergolas, grow them into shrubs, or use them as ground covers.
